By Dr. García Lambas, YACHT-CONICET
Next Wednesday 14 June at 11 hours, Integrators in the Auditorium of the Faculty of Chemical Sciences of the National University of Córdoba, then give the Lecture Series External Researchers "CIQUIBIC Open Doors".
This time, we take on the challenge of opening up this space for knowledge exchange and discussion even more, inviting them to venture into other areas of scientific knowledge, as an alternative proposal to enrich and stimulate curiosity and the generation of questions, fundamental bases of our activity as researchers.
The conference will be conducted by Dr. Diego García Lambas, Superior CONICET researcher, Director of the Institute of Theoretical and Experimental Astronomy (YACHT-CONICET) and Professor at the Astronomical Observatory of the National University of Córdoba, Argentina.
Origin and evolution of large structures in the universe
In this talk we will discuss the nature of the largest structures in the universe: galaxies, cumulus clouds, large voids and flat and filamentary superstructures.
We will focus on the cosmological mechanisms that give rise to them and their evolution to address different tests of the global geometry of the universe..
En particular, we will be interested in the evidences of the evolution of the distribution of galaxies, the presence of dark matter in systems and in the accelerated expansion of the universe.
For the third 2017 “CIQUIBIC Open Doors” Lecture, CIQUIBIC is pleased to welcome Dr. Diego García Lambas, CONICET Senior Researcher from IATE-CONICET, and Full Professor at the Astronomical Observatory, National University of Cordoba, Argentina.
The conference will be held on Wednesday June 14, at 11 am in the Auditorium of the College of Chemical Sciences, UNC.
Dr. García Lambas will lecture about
