Identification of synthetic lethality inducers in tumor cells by the development of screening platforms for natural products
This plan will be framed within the PAE-Glaxo project, whose general objective will be to identify compounds capable of inducing synthetic lethality in tumor cells in order to identify new therapeutic targets and molecules for the future development of selective antineoplastic drugs.
The main specific objective is to carry out the validation of the “hits” of the different platforms to determine how they induce synthetic lethality at the molecular or signaling level and to verify that they maintain their efficiency and specificity using suitable cellular models that reflect the characteristics of the disease.
