El próximo miércoles 16 de septiembre, a las 11:30 horas, en el Auditorio del Centro Científico Tecnológico de Córdoba (CCT-Córdoba) dará continuación el Ciclo de Conferencias de Investigadores Externos “CIQUIBIC de Puertas Abiertas”.
En esta oportunidad, la conferencia estará a cargo del Dr. Francisco Tamarit, Investigador Principal del CONICET y Profesor Titular en el Instituto de Física Enrique Gaviola (IFEG-CONICET), Facultad de Matemáticas, Astronomía y Física (FAMAF- UNC) y actual Rector de la Universidad Nacional de Córdoba.
Modelando el Cerebro: Los Desafíos de la Neurociencia Teórica y Computacional
El modelado matemático de neuronas como así también de redes neuronales ha crecido en la última década, haciendo de la neurociencia teórica y computacional un fértil campo de investigación científica interdisciplinaria. En esta charla se presentarán los conceptos básicos involucrados en el modelado de sistemas neuronales artificiales y se discutirá su alcance y potencial en el estudio de sistemas reales.
Modeling the Brain: The Challenges of Theoretical and Computational Neuroscience
Mathematical modeling of neurons as well as neural networks has grown over the last decade, making the theoretical and computational neuroscience a fertile ground for interdisciplinary scientific research. In this lecture, the basic concepts involved in modeling artificial neural systems will be presented and their scope and potential for the study of real systems will be discussed.
